The Gallery - Missing Image

After a bad day at work i was really broken and i wasn't able to do alot. Gladly Shye knows me enough to not get me on an edge, so i was able to stay and even enjoy the time!

We been 'working' on our Gallery. It was more a copy and paste routine but now we got three levels. The first level is for Missing Image, photography brought by Shye and Alysa. The second floor is for an exhibition from any other artist. We got to find our first one but i shall you keep updated. The third floor is the photstudio and that was the nice part of today. We been shopping for a good photostudio and found one we liked. It's easy to use, easy to place down, it was copyable so now we got two of them. We also bought a load of packages with backgrounds and i really like them. I believe we got something for everybody who is visiting Blacklist. We loaded up alot of backgrounds and no doubt we will add more later this year. The two photosphere's do got two different posestands and together they will get to 300 poses. No doubt you find something you like!

I will organise some event around this. My tired mind even managed to squeesh out an idea, so yay! Feel free to use the photospheres and have fun with them. If you want that Shye or me take your picture just IM us, we do ask a small contribution for it but it all goes to Blacklist and not our own wallets.

The Raven

Today i didn't had much energy and no wish to do anything at all. I felt crappy and abit down as something had happened during work. Shye wanted to go exploring and i had the option to sit somewhere and do nothing or go along and maybe see some interesting things. I took the last one. Shye tried two places from the showcase on the SL website. Sofar they where a dissapointing and after visiting two of them, and yes both a dissapointment, i picked one. The one i had picked was a storytelling place and it had a poem from Edgar Allen Poe, "the Raven".

"Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
`'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door -
Only this, and nothing more."

We sat down and listend to the whole poem. It was really cool and did me well.

Graveyard... dance?

Last night DJ Balp crashed his card..whatever that might mean, but it ment we didn't had a DJ. Gladly Hyang had asked Felicia so she started playing and at the time i got there i poked her for more songs and send out a message to all who wanted to hear it.

And before i knew we had a party on the graveyard with around of 20 people. Dancing in the fog and under the dead trees. Howling to the moon and trying to awake the ghosts and zombies. It was good fun!

Blacklists Grand Opening

It was so awesome. We had four DJ's, one live musican, 3 boardcontests and a photocontest. I don't even know where to start so i first so you our flyer which Shye made.

Sjofin started with an amasing coverset. She had made it specially for us and i do hope i will hear it again sometime as she had put alot of effort in it. It was one of my favorit sets of hers.

After Sjofin DJ Amara came and she had put alot of effort in it aswell. She made an all female rockers set of two hours! I really enjoyed that and it was something i hadn't heard yet. DJ Yoshi took over with a funky space punk set and she got us all grooving.

After these three great DJ's it was time for the special act! Komuso Tokugawa with his BoogieBluesNoise. Yoshi told me to try to get him so i tried and managed. It was an awfull good succes. That guy is super. A raw voice, great guitar and his blues is special. You just got to hear him to experience his music. It made me very happy and most proud to suddenly see we had 40 visitors in the sim. Yay!

After Komuso Tokugawa, DJ Sami crawled behind her DJset and played for a few hours, ending this party in style with her mixture of 80's and 90's. At that time the party was going for 9 hours and i just couldn't stay up any longer.

At every DJ we had a little contest on the board. Best in Punk, Best Blacklist Looks and Best Hairstyle where the ones we done. Beside that i also made a photocontest but that became abit of a failure. People where too busy having fun and dancing! I will redo it as a sperated event and hopefully there will be more participants then the one i had now. I do believe in the concept and i think its fun.

 

Wonderfull how it all went and i would like to thank Shye, Amara, Yoshi, Sami and Sjo for making this event even  better then i had planned. The energy they placed in it made it for me a memoirable day. Thank you to all the visitors and friends that came to the party. Thank you all and i hope to see you all back at one of our upcoming parties or events!

Blacklist Grand Opening!

The Blacklist Grand Opening!

You are invited to join us on Saturday, the 21st of June 2008, for the Grand Opening of the Catacysm Sim and the Blacklist Bar. We have a nice line-up of DJ's for your entertainment. A variety of contests including a photography contest for all you crazy shutterbugs. At 06.00 pm slt we will have Komuso Tokugawa playing his special blues, a live musician to tickles your ears .The event will start at 12:00 pm slt and we will carry on until around 08:00 pm slt.

Event Schedule:

We start at 12:00 pm slt with DJ Sjofin Oh. She will be doing a special cover set of of fun punk. At 02:00 pm slt Dj Amara Shino will play a New Wave and Punk set. Dj Yoshimi Yoshikawa will carry on at 04:00 pm slt with a Space Punk set. At 06.00 pm slt we have live music. Komuso Tokugawa will be playing and letting hear his BoogieBluesNoise. DJ Samirah Whitfield will spin the day to an end at 07.00 pm slt with her special choice of music.

Throughout the day we will hold contests for nice prizes. There will be a photocontest, and other fun events. You'll find more information at the bar on Saturday (we're still planning the fun). Come for fun, freebies and prizes, all day long.

All the events will take at the Blacklist Bar. Just follow the middle road from the landingpoint and head west.

Blacklist + Isle = Work < Relax

Since almost a week Blacklists investors bought a whole sim and since those days we have been busy with planning, laying out the infrastructure, building and more building. It's really great to build at this scale, filling a whole sim and making it interesting for ourselfs and visitors. Sofar Shye, Lianna and meself have been building. Since a day or two Hirundo and Kurai joined in.

We still got 14k, more or less, of land at Blacklist. In 2-3 weeks we need to pay that tier but i kind of hope we be ready to move the bar and the shops to the new sim. We are working hard and the progress is pretty well visible. Lianna really goes fast with her building and i am sometimes lost with what i should. Like now!

So now i am at Emeral City, listening to DJ Sjofin who is doing a cover set.

Futa Love Fest '08

Troubles during building and ....

... how we solve such problems Blacklist style!

We had removed a building and an invisible prim stayed. After a good day waiting for the Lindens to take actions we took it in our own hands. Plan? To crash the sim. How? To ask the zombies for help.

So we went to them and asked them to... no we didn't! We just slayed them all and it took sometime and effort. In the end i was taking my distance, shooting the ones at the edges while Shye was slaying them with her very cool blades. And the result? One crashed sim, and the invisible prim was gone. Thanks Linden Lab! It was fun doing.

New Gun

Lylanna made this gun and i was really impressed. It's the first time she made one and it looks really nice. I think the picture isn't that well taken. She placed some nice details in it and the textures look good aswell. The gun is slightly too big for me but for some bigger people it will look splendid and most dangerious!

Building..Big!

Alot get build at Blacklist, from places to cuddle to little cute pandas that blow themself up. And somewhere in between stands a big thing. A little view from the window as Shye is working at it. It's scary! Take a quess what it is..
